The Steinbock in Vals is a gem tucked in the Swiss Alps. Friendly staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms, fine views, excellent breakfast.

We spent a cozy holiday season in a charming mountain hotel. the beautiful views from the rooms were breathtaking, with snow, capped peaks and fairy, tale, like winter scenery. the proximity to the ski lift allowed us to enjoy the slopes with ease. the breakfast was rich with a variety of pastries, fruits, and cold cuts.
The room was poorly equipped with no fridge or coffee/tea making facilities available.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay in a hotel located next to the cable car giving access to the mountain slopes. The hotel was nicely decorated and provided a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant served amazing food, including local specialties, and the outdoor sauna and jacuzzi were perfect after a long day on the slopes.
The room was a bit limited with no fridge or kettle, and the bed was too soft for our liking. The staff was polite but lacked friendliness, and there was not enough information about breakfast options.

The staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and I especially loved the fact that there was a restaurant with amazing food for dinner. I also appreciated the parking lot, helpful for this small village.

The hotel had stunning views, with easy access to hiking and skiing attractions. the room was clean, cozy and contained modern amenities. the bathroom was immaculate, well-lit and had all necessary toiletries. the staff was happy to offer advice on local attractions and were friendly and helpful.
The dinner menu was bland and overpriced.
